We bring our hearts and minds to work

Volvo Financial Services and the Volvo Group have a broad commitment to better the communities in which we operate. Below is a brief list of causes VFS has recently supported through volunteer activities and charitable donations:

  • United Way, an organization committed to reducing poverty worldwide
  • Second Harvest, and Out of the Garden food assistance programs
  • NCCJ ANYTOWN, a program that brings diverse groups of children together to celebrate each other’s differences, and to talk about the importance of respect, understanding and inclusivity
  • Junior Achievement, an organization that provides hands-on coaching for children of all ages on the value of education, career aspirations, and skills and life and business.
  • Tiny House Community Development, an organization that aims to reduce homelessness by developing tiny house communities. The program intends to create safe, permanent affordable housing for those experiencing homelessness.
  • Kaluga orphanage, a home for children where more than 50 children between 9 -17 years of age are provided with safe housing.
  • The Cultiva Foundation, who’s mission is to reverse the consequences of climate change and contribute to air decontamination.

The Volvo Group Sustainability Strategy

The choices we make today define the world we live in tomorrow. Climate change, population growth and increasing urbanization are shifting the landscape and expectations on transport and infrastructure. In all our actions, we need to consider how to reduce climate impact, use the world’s resources more efficiently, and conduct business more responsibly.
